Established the Lean Portfolio Management Office for the Group Benefits Technology Organization. • With assertiveness, led financial governance for a portfolio of over $50M in annual spending, clarifying the routines and requirements and presenting the results to the executive vice president and his staff monthly. • Managed vendor and supplier relationships and management to lower cost and higher performance predictability levels. • Established relentless improvement in team, program and portfolio performance via the employment of self-assessments, reporting, and recognition. • Managed the portfolio to deliver 90% of the planned initiatives and five unplanned projects, all within 3% of the original budget for the financial year under my leadership.
